Bespoke Jewellery

We can personalise a piece of jewellery from our existing range with our hand engraving by the lovely Jenni, or we can design and make a unique piece for you, just get in touch.

Hand Engraving

We hand engrave all the text on our jewellery (as opposed to stamping or etching) in our workshop, adding to the character and uniqueness of each piece. We charge £5 per character to personalise a piece with a name, date or small phrase, or a combination of these. The choice is yours!

Our beautiful 'Owl and the Pussycat' locket was recently made for lovely bride Katy, whose very thoughtful husband asked us to engrave the date of their wedding on the reverse. What a beautiful idea.

These specially commissioned wedding rings feature personalised hand engraving for a completely unique forever ring for both Mr and Mrs.

Commissions

If you cant find exactly what you want or would like to commemorate a person or event in a very special way, you can commission a piece of jewellery designed and made by us, only for you. Nick established our bespoke service, producing some truly magnificent pieces (see our gallery of some examples below) and we have been lucky enough to continue his tradition in recent years. Making these extra special pieces is always a privilege. Whether you have a design on paper or just some rough thoughts, we would love to hear from you.

Special Events, Dates and People!

We have made pieces ranging from cufflinks to lockets for special birthdays, proposals, weddings, anniversaries, christenings and graduations. Some of our most elaborate and touching commissions have been commemorative pieces designed in remembrance of a loved one or in celebration of a new baby. It is an honour to make pieces that mark such significant events, people and memories.

It has also been so lovely to be asked to recreate beloved children's sketches or favourite childhood toys either made into small charms or engraved onto pendants or cufflinks.

Personalised Charms

Nick made many commissions and one off pieces over the years. One of his favourites was for the wonderful children's writer Jill Murphy. Nick and his daughters loved reading her Worst Witch series in the 1980s so to be asked to turn some of her characters into three-dimensional charms was an honour. Jill's charming sketch (shown here) was the inspiration for some truly unique charms. Nick was then commissioned to make this wonderful charm bracelet for Jill's birthday by her publishing house Puffin.

Time Scale

The more lead time we have for bespoke pieces the better but we recommend approximately 6-8 weeks from when you would like to receive the finished piece. However, If you have left your bespoke gift until the last minute, don't panic, do please get in touch and we will do our very best to help! Whether you have the seed of an idea or a specific design in mind, we would love to hear from you.
