1. I have seen a piece of jewellery in a shop but I can't seem to find it on your website to buy directly???
There are two separate Nick Hubbard collections available. The gallery collection is only available through our stockists. The other collection is featured on our website and is our online collection (includes the wedding collection, jewellery collection, beans charms, gifts and vouchers, greetings cards). The online collection is only available to buy direct and products are exclusive to our website.
If you are having trouble tracking down a certain item, please contact us and we will do our best to help!
Nick is constantly busy making lots of new pieces, we will be adding more exclusive items to the website throughout the year - look out for more items appearing here soon!
2. What metal is the jewellery made in?
Unless otherwise stated, Nick Hubbard jewellery is made from sterling silver (925) with an oxidised and polished finish. The gold detail is 9ct gold (375).
Nick Hubbard jewellery conforms to the hallmarking standard and is stamped with our makers mark N&J H.
All pieces are engraved with a logo of a small brick and bean - this logo identifies an original piece of Nick Hubbard jewellery.
3. Is it safe to use my credit / debit card to make purchases online from this site?
4. I don't want to enter my credit / debit card details online; can I still order items from the website?
Yes! We also accept payment by cheque, cash or postal order in pound sterling. Please print out a copy of our order form and return it to us filled in and with your payment in full to: Nick Hubbard, PO Box 3427, Staffordshire WS7 9YW. Please see our 'terms and conditions' for further details.
5. I need to order a piece of jewellery urgently but your website states delivery within 3-4 weeks...
We make all of the jewellery by hand and only make each piece to order. This way we can ensure that your order is brand new and looking at its very best! Due to the nature of the products and our work load we ask you to allow up to 3-4 weeks for delivery although delivery is often sooner.
However, if you do need an item urgently please contact us and we will do our very best to help!
6. What if I receive my jewellery and it's not what I wanted or it's faulty?
Whilst we are positive that you will be happy with your order, jewellery can be returned or exchanged within 7 days with proof of purchase and providing the item has not been worn and the item and packaging is in perfect condition. Commissions and personalised orders are non returnable and are excluded from our returns policy. All returns must be posted by Royal Mail Special Delivery to: Nick Hubbard, PO Box 3427, Staffordshire, WS7 9YW.
We work extremely hard to ensure that all pieces of jewellery and gifts are made to the highest standard and that they are packaged so that they arrive with you in perfect condition. In the unlikely event that your order is faulty we will of course reimburse you. Please return the faulty item to: Nick Hubbard, PO Box 3427, Staffordshire, WS7 9YW and we will reimburse your postage cost too!
7. I have seen a few things that I like on the website but I am looking for something that is a bit more personal to me - is this something you can do?
We have two suggestions:
Nick offers an engraving service of £5 per character, a good idea for adding that personal touch to a piece of jewellery! Why not have initials, name or a special date engraved?
Nick has been making jewellery for over 30 years and is happy to work to commission. Please contact Nick to discuss any ideas that you may have for that special piece. If you're stuck for ideas for that special gift, a bracelet with bespoke charms may be just what you are looking for! Charms can be especially made to reflect the individual personality and interests of the wearer making a wonderful piece of personalised jewellery bringing joy for many years to come!
